FYREPUTTY FyrePutty made from Fibrefrax ceramic fibre, is a single component fire stop system for use in walls, ceilings and floors. It is used in new and retrofit construction for sealing metal pipes, voids, cable and EMT penetrations. Ceramic fibre is an inorganic, chemically stable material that has excellent insulating and fire resistant characteristics. As a result, unlike silicone or instumescent products, FirePutty does not smoke, flame or give off noxious fumes or odors under fire conditions. FyrePutty can be hand packed troweled, caulked or mechanically pumped.
