Moist
pak is manufatured from Durablnket that has been soaked in
a specially forulated rigidizing solution which causes the blanket
to harden when exposed to ambient air and / or heat. It is a "hot
face" refractory insulatio barrier that has been designed
for direct exposure to process atmospheres and can be fitted to
variety of surface contours. In addition, it offers a higher insulating
value than castable, IFB or fire bricks ehile maintaing substantial
resistance to vapour or gas erosion. Moist pal shrinkage is higher
than of corresponding grade of blanket.
